Food Hampers

The delivery of food hampers arose from our awareness of people going through difficult times in their own homes (e.g. relationship problems, drug and alcohol issues etc.) which cause a loss of self-worth. As society in general sees a person going through difficulties it tends to blame the person and takes off the label which Christ put on them when they were born. The label is "Priceless", and is replaced by society with a label that reads "useless" or "worthless".

All of us have to accept our share of the guilt for ripping Gods "priceless" labels off people.

The food parcels which we take to people's homes are a means to getting alonside people and helping them to see their real worth in Christ. In addition we are always seeking to be lead by God as to how we minister to each person who is visited, whether we actually offer to pray for them about their problems, lead them to Christ or simply say "God bless you" as we leave.
