Love in Action Groups

There are currently five Love in Action groups in Cardiff. Each group is made up of 8 - 15 people. These are Christians from a variety of denominations and non-Christian friends or family members. The groups meet on an ad-hoc basis, and once a month on average.

There are three main purposes of the Love in Action groups:

1) To prepare sandwiches for the volunteers who take food out on streets. This valuable work enables our volunteers to use their gift whether or not they are able to go out and minister to people on the streets themselves.

2) To enjoy Christian fellowship. Whilst making the sandwhiches volunteers enjoy a time of sharing the gospel with each other; chatting and drinking coffee, as well as praying for the needs of those who are ministered to through the work of the charity.

3) To evangelise. The groups draw in neighbours, friends and family members of our volunteers who are keen to get involved in charitable work. Through meeting with Christians they find out more about the Christian faith.
